This range of InGaAs PIN photodiodes has extended spectral response. There are three types available, 0.9 µm to 1.9  µm, 1.0 µm to 2.1 µm and 1.2 µm to 2.6 µm.  Single and two-stage thermoelectrically cooled versions are available for reducing the dark current. Long wavelength InGaAs detectors are suitable for applications such as near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, non-destructive testing, chemical process monitoring, gas detection and food quality measurements.
