Quantum Yield Measurements – quick and easy!

 

The Quantaurus Series

Hamamatsu has developed the Quantaurus series for a diversified evaluation of luminescent materials. Quantaurus-Tau (C11367) and Quantaurus-QY (C11347) are now available for measuring fluorescence lifetime and quantum yield, respectively. Complementary analyses with the two systems enable users to promote development of photoluminescent materials. The C9920 Series

 
The compact spectrometers of the PMA series are multi-channel analyzers. They can measure 50 spectra per second each consisting of more than 1.000 spectral channels.
Based on this detector Hamamatsu developed their brand new systems for fast determination of absolute quantum yields: the C9920 series.
 
It offers systems for various applications. All components can be combined and easily added afterwards.
 
General setup
  • Xenon lamp or constant current power supply for excitation
  • Sample chamber(integration sphere or rotating stage)
  • High sensitivity multi-channel analyser for signal detection

C11367   Quantaurus-Tau for Fluorescence Lifetime Measurements The Quantaurus-Tau is a compact system for quickly and easily measuring the fluorescence lifetime of photoluminescent materials from sub-nanoseconds to the millisecond range, with single-photon-counting sensitivity. Samples in different forms—thin films, solids, powders, and solutions—can be analyzed.
C11347   Quantaurus-QY for Quantum Yield Measurements The Quantaurus-QY is a compact, easy-to-use instrument for measuring absolute photoluminescence quantum yields and other properties of light-emitting materials.
C9920-12   Quantum Yield Measurement System This system measures the External Quantum Efficiency of samples by EL method.
